M.I.A.

So I been MIA for the entire year because at the end of Jan. I found out I was pregnant so I dedicated my life to my pregnancy and my son. I'm now the proud mother of a 3yr old prince who I love more then life and a 6yr prince who helps so much!!

Cotton Candy

Who doesn't love it? I made some cotton candy cupcakes best tasting cupcakes ever!! Okay well not ever but they were really sweet and really tasted like cotton candy! I love baking and it makes me ever so happy!!

I might as well

Start posting pics of some things I've made... My husband and I are Dominican so we like typical Hispanic dishes... My husband loves Flan, me on the other hand I'm not as big a fan of it because other then the fact that I'm obsessed with cupcakes I just don't like things that are heavy in sweets... SO I decided to make flan cupcakes.. Not typically what you think of right away it's not flan put into cupcake mold, it's actual cupcakes with flan center... I also made caramel frosting and it went so well with it I'm soo glad I decided to get a little creative and man did it hit the spot!! Husband (who isn't too big on cupcakes, crazy right?!?) loved em!! And I have a few fans, even friends who never thought they would ever eat flan! I'm still undecided about posting recipes but maybe if you ask nicely I'll post that too :)

Today I sent the

2nd cupcake I made to a friend who's going to love it!  Kinda sad tho I didn't know I'd be upset to send away one of my creations... But on to the next one I'm about to order some more and make some more creations!! Let's see what I'll come up with next!

I never

Really made my own cupcakes from scratch, I mean I've made frosting or added ingredients but never done it all from scratch, and I'm thinking I will make Pico de Gallo cupcakes. Now I know that usually you don't think of something spicy or used as a salsa but I think I'm going to create something this weekend... Let's hope it comes out the way I planned

So I started

Working so I been neglecting my blog :( sorry, but I have the coolest job.. And this job is just a jump away from me opening my spa/cupcake shop so let's see what happens... But right now I feel like I'm on top of the world... And found a pastry school that I will be attending nights full-time mom, part-time student, part-time assistant and full-time cupcake!! GOSH what a great 2011!!

New Day...

So to start off the new year I changed  my hair color... more like a cupcake now.. maybe coconut colored?!? Lol or caramel? I dunno you be the judge?!? I really miss my loud bright red but this is kind of sexy!!

So this is what I did... Does he look like Gloomy Bear? LOL I hope he does as being that since this is my 2nd custom I hope to make more as often as I can... Obviously he isn't perfect but I think I did a pretty good job :)... What should I do for my next cuppycake custom?

Just another day...

So today made a few sketches of what I want to do with my blank cuppycakes, Loving my gloomy ideas so far but now to get it done?!? UGHH I hate working hard lol... Oh and my flan is almost finished.. (in my Snookie voice) WAHHHH I don't want to make more but it's soo darn good!! lol

Well I never blogged before but I figured I'm a housewife with alot of time and lots to say so I might as well start writing some of it... As you can tell I love cupcakes and I bake constantly, you'll be seeing some of them eventually... But that's all for now thats a pretty good introduction... :) I'm Lissa btw
